SBIS supports SNS/NNNS Joint Conference 2026SBIS is pleased to support the Suffolk Naturalists’ Society and Norfolk & Norwich Naturalists’ Society joint conference this autumn: ‘Recording for Nature Recovery – how biological recording will benefit wildlife in crisis’, taking place on Saturday 10th October at Diss Corn Hall. The day brings together speakers working across a wide range of recording techniques and technologies, including a keynote from Professor Bill Sutherland, sessions on drones, thermal imaging, bioacoustics and DNA from the Darwin Tree of Life project, and talks on citizen science, iRecord and pan-species listing. The Linder Foundation GrantsThe Linder Foundation support specific projects that focus on land-based projects relating to biodiversity (such as sustainable farming practices) and/or species preservation/re-introduction. The project can be in an urban or rural environment, can be farm-based or within connected farms, and could contain a research element that seeks to provide the evidence base for change. Our average grant is £15,000 and their grant should cover at least 50% of the total project cost. Priorities
